Brief Online Reputation Management Keys to Success

Online Reputation Management Keys to Success

Last Updated on August 1, 2023 by Steven W. Giovinco

The keys to success are a constant review of the reputation case, hard work, tweaking of the strategy, and most importantly, continued excellent content creation placed on the right platforms.

This involves:

  • Understanding the business, individual, or brand through business analysis (30+ hours)
  • Review and inventory all existing content–both online and “off-line”
  • Optimize for search engines by updating links, headers, etc. (10-30+ hours)
  • Create social media and other industry-specific sites (30+ hours)
  • Backlink creation (20+ hours)
  • Generate initial excellent content in the form of blogs, white papers, presentations, videos, infographics, photographs, and audio (30+ hours)
  • Share on targeted social media (50+ hours)
  • Continue to generate excellent content, constantly sharing and tweaking (100+ hours)

Online Reputation Management Needs to Be Hands-On

Everything is completely customized. And frankly, this is the only way to be effective. With this approach, 90% of all projects are successfully completed. Given that Google stresses quality content, the focus is on excellent, hand-crafted solutions.

And since Google is always changing its algorithm, and it is crucial to be flexible, and pivot to find the best solution.

Large companies don’t–and can’t–do this. This customized approach to online reputation management and repair is very time consuming but is extremely successful–there is no check-list, just solutions that push down negative links.
